Mr. F. Boshaw

I grew up on a farm in Washington State and have lived in Asia and Europe.  Presently I live with my wife of 37 years in Escondido, with our kids and grandchildren all within a three mile radius.  I enjoy working in the garden, playing Scrabble (or any card game), and watching football.  However, my favorite all-time thing is just hanging out with my wife.

I consider it both a privilege and an honor to be asked to teach at our school, recognizing my greatest qualification is God’s grace.  Teaching is a high calling in itself, but combined with the call of ministry…what could be better?

My desire for the school year is two-fold; first, that I be a godly example for your children and my love for Jesus would be radiant, and that my service to Him would be genuine. Secondly; that I provide my students with the best possible learning environment; that it be a safe, comfortable, and stimulating place of learning.  I believe classroom control to be critical.  I believe that the teacher had the right to teach and the students have the right to learn.  My standards are high, yet attainable.  My expectation is fair.  Recognizing that not all students learn the same way, I place strong effort above high achievement.  It’s nice to get all A’s, but having a great attitude is better.  Students will be recognized for their outstanding effort, as well as their high academic grade. I accept both the challenges and the blessings of a teaching year, and believe the Lord has a special reward for all of us as we diligently seek Him... “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed…”2 Tim 2:15

In Christ, Fred Boshaw
