Welcome!  Calvary Christian has been my family’s “home” for the past twenty years.  I was blessed to be called to partner with God twenty years ago in the creation of CCS, and have been able to participate in so many aspects of the school:  administration, teaching 4th-12 grades, counseling, coaching, mentoring, etc. 

I grew up in Newport and Huntington Beach and graduated from Edison High School in 1973.  Following high school I attended various colleges.  I earned a life experience degree from Canterbury University, was ACE certified in 1982, and continue to earn CEUs yearly.

I have always loved both learning and teaching British Literature, Government, French, and Algebra.  Before coming to Calvary Christian, I was the lead Jr/Sr High teacher at Valley Christian School in San Marcos, Ca for five years.  With that experience, the pastor of Calvary Vista asked me to start a school for Kindergarten through seventh grades.  At that time I was able to principal, teach, coach, and wear as many hats as were necessary.  During my tenure at CCS I have been fortunate to facilitate educational and missions trips with students to DC, New York, Boston, Russia, Germany, England, Scotland, France, and Hungary.  What an adventure!

Presently, I am teaching 12th grade Brit Lit with honors, US Government and Economics, and Jr. High Math AP, as well as execute the duties of Vice-Principal and high school counselor.  My two sons graduated from CCS, and now my grandchildren are starting the process with our eldest in Kindergarten.  It has been remarkable to train young men and women with their eyes on the Lord.  My former and present students bless and enrich my life continually.
