Hello!

US History at Calvary Christian School is offered in the 8^th and 11^th grades.

I am honored to be here this year and share with students the history of our great nation.  In the study of United States history, my goal is to gain a new appreciation of God’s hand working in history and each student’s place in God’s plan.  Throughout history are many examples of people who either followed God’s standard or failed to do so.  From these examples, we see the truth of God in action and develop values and principles for living.

I am a graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Political Science.  I also hold a Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego.  I have recently retired from the Army Reserves where I worked in the Military Intelligence and Transportation fields.

My husband, Jeff, and I have two sons who attend Calvary Christian.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling and going to the beach with my family.
